I'd like to get an idea who's planning to join the Feb ride in Dalby so we can start to plan route, times etc.
My initial thoughts are to get an early start (9.30ish) from the Visitor Centre and do a route that mixes up the Red and Black Routes a bit, with a Coffee stop at Jingleby. I haven't done the new Red Route since it was redeveloped but I hear the first bit is the best in the wet. Finish off around 1pm.
Route/pace/timings depending on riders and weather.
Any friends/colleagues/new members that want to join us, please come along.

Paul
Pretty certain Jingley in now shut and won't reopen due to retirement of Mrs Jingley!

Chris,
24th is the current plan. Hope you can make it.
Andy,
Thanks. Shame really as there's nothing else out there, as far as I know, so we'll have to wait 'til we finish for tea and buns at the visitor centre.

Sounds good! The 24th seems OK right now though things might change.

We seem to have about 4 or 5 riders so far for this.
Is there anyone else out there who fancies some mud and fun in Dalby?
I'm logging off for a few days skiing but it would be good to come back to a list of eager riders.
Long hair and baggies are optional you know!

For Saturday's ride we'll meet at the Visitor Centre Car Park at 9.30 for 9.45 off.
I have space for 1 extra if anyone needs a lift. Forecast looks showery but mild at the moment.
Wrap up about 1pm for some fuel at the Cafe.

Rode at Dalby last night, it's very, very wet and a lot of diversions onto fire roads are in place.

Despite the prediction of some muddy conditions the ride is still on as planned - I've never cancelled a MTB ride because of mud yet!
I'll be arriving 9.30, or thereabouts as I have a couple of lifts to pick up.
See you there.
