Bike Stolen

Post by paulM »

My Fort training bike was stolen from outside Nestle sometime Wed afternoon.

Light blue with silver mudguards, Front wheel Ambrosia Evolution with grey rim, back wheel Mavic Open Pro with black rim. Selle Italia Roll saddle, Deda stem, blue Schwalbe Blizzard tyres, mostly Campag Mirage components.
Shimano Ultegra road pedals - siezed into cranks and would probably require a visit to a bike shop to get removed.

Hey - lightning does strike twice - Having never had so much as light nicked in 20 years I have now had two bikes stolen in as many months as my Fort replacement - a blue Ribble training bike was taken from outside our house last Thurs night. So basically it looks just like everyone elses - Blue oversize frame tubes, Black Alpina carbon Forks, Campag Mirage components, black mudguards, Mavic rims, blue Swalbe tyres, Rolls saddle, Ultegra road pedals.
So a word of warning - don't leave your bike unattended unless it is very securely locked especially around York!
