If I am needed I can do a few laps for the girls.........but if there is too many girls would be happy to help out in the pits or do whatever!

Do we need a night out to organise this?

Is that in case you slip over when you come out of the pub?

No it's so that those people who live in stupid country hamlets can get to the venue

I would like to do this so count me in if there are still team spaces available. I remember this is what I agreed to do in a “slightly” drunk state on the MTB night out before Christmas.

Just got an email from the organizer and the price is £210 per team. If we get the forms in early we should be ok getting places.

We will need to meet as soon as the entry forms come out, will need riders address and a signature, and some pennies :D

I was going to suggest we meet up on Monday evening 1st March to sort the forms out. I'm going to hand deliver them the day after.

Looks like we have a lot of interest so I suggest meeting one evening early Feb. to discuss teams etc.

What do you reckon?

So it looks like we may well have 3 Guy teams and 1 Girlie team, with a few more riders to sign up.

Shall we make it another curry night or perhaps thai and few bottles of singha? Did somebody say Tuesday 9th February or did I just make that up?

Right folks

I've arranged to meet at the fox pub in holgate (YO24 4DQ) on Monday 1st of February @7.30pm, the landlord as kindly given us the room foc.

If you would like to race then please bring your entry fee to guarantee a place, cash or cheque is fine.

Team of 4 = £52.50 each
Team of 5 = £42 each

If you can't make it please send me a pm so I can forward on my address for you to send a cheque. I'll try and put you in a team thats hopefully suitable for you.

If you can make it then it would make my life easier, the teams need to
be of a similar ability/fitness. don't want anyone under pressure if your in the wrong team.

Any questions let me know

See you there

Rich

Some photos from Mountain Mayhem 2008 to get you into the mood!:

http://cid-4adb01e7a6c94243.skydrive.li ... iew=thumbs

It was the muddiest ride ever at night, laps were taking 0.5 hours in the day and 1.5 - 2 hours at night after the rain!!! Saddle Skedaddle looked after us, I think we need to recruit at least 3 pit people with the number of people we have riding, to cook and do mechanical things. Also I wonder if we could get a generator and a massive tent from somewhere? It made the whole thing much more comfortable (picture of a lit up tent in the dark if you follow the link above)

I can borrow a tent like that from the scout troop I help with, got two large lights & a stove too which both fit to a gas bottle. Unless you needed a huge tent then I could ask about borrowing a marquee free of charge.
