Hopefully next week I shall return to Tuesday rides, a mixture of being busy and ill (brilliant combination) has seen me unable to join you all for the past few.

I need to be in Boston Spa for 1pm so may need to turn back early but will be there for 9:30.

If we can head West it would suit me if that's OK.

The Tuesday Trundler's consisted of 7 this week. Gill called in sick and so it was an all-male group: Dave C, John, Andrew, John O, Richard T, Brian and myself.

As time was constrained we opted for an anticlockwise loop via Haxby, Whenby, Yearsley, Coxwold, Easingwold, Aldwark Bridge, Cattall to the cafe on Thorp Arch trading estate

Brian P********d on the road from Yearsley to Coxwold and decided to head back home so 6 of us completed the loop - with an increasing head-wind keeping the HRMs busy!

Thanks to all for a good brisk 50 miles (to the cafe)

Yes 2 punctures in 2 hours one to each wheel made me realise it is time for the heavy tyres. Autumn is here.

Brian
ps. Yes the pace was slightly above base training for me at least.
