NYMBO Moors Marathon 20th Sept

Post by Allan »

The (3rd) annual NYMBO Moors Marathon is on Sunday 20th Sept.
There are 3 courses, 15 miles, 30 miles and 45 miles.
Its not a race but more of a challenge to complete.
It would be nice to see a few cliftonites there!!!!
It's well worth it for the mug alone!!

Or plastic water water bottle (last year). I have done both the long and the medium. It is more strenuous than the mileage suggests due the boggy terrain. Great fun though. Thought I might try the short one this year with my 8 and 6 year old if the weather is OK.

Is anyone going to this jaunt? I'd appreciate a bumber to follow from York because as confident as i am of being able to find the place... i'm not that confident that i'll find it in time for registration

There are a few places left for tomorrows rides if anybody fancies it.
A few of the wednesday night faces will be there.
It is relatively easy to find - drive from low Dalby towards Dixons hollow but after one mile turn right up to high rigg farm. It will have a green arrow signpost with NYMBO on it.
