Dear All,

The MTB Captain role became vacant recently and I decided it was time to take up the challenge and try and give back to the club that has been good to me over the last 7+ years.

Starting with Sunday club rides I've decided we should have as many as possible, but at least one a month. To keep it simple I'm proposing that the last Sunday of the month is the Clifton MTB Club ride.

On the 31st May we have a great favourite of mine the Nidderdale Reservoirs ride. Starting from Pateley Bridge and taking in the views near Gouthwaite and Scar House Reservoirs. Further details can be found below:

Please aim to be at the Pateley Bridge car park for a 10:30am departure.

For our future Sunday Club Rides below is a proposed schedule of rides:

28-Jun - Hole of Horcum / Goathland / Fylingdales
26-Jul - Boltby / Sutton Bank
30-Aug - Grassington
27-Sep - Hamsterley Forest
25-Oct - Gisburn Forest
29-Nov - Lastingham

Hi Jez
Just seen your post.....Haven't been on my mountain bike for well over a year now so I might be very rusty (so might the bike ). Not sure I can make next week but I have put the other rides on my calendar and will do my best to attend.

Great idea to post some rides up - I've put them in my diary and will get to as many as I can.

Just a further thought - maybe the title needs to be changed to advertise the other rides and generate some interest?
