After last week's epic in the Dales, this Sunday we're going to have some, gentler, fun on the Wolds.

Bernard has kindly offered to use his local knowledge and lead a ride, stopping off at the club hill climb competition at Bishop Wilton to spectate or, preferably, have a bash (just for fun). Afterwards we'll continue round and finish with a pub lunch at Leavening. It'll be a fairly short ride and a leisurely pace so all welcome.

Sorry for the no show this morning. We followed the sat-nav to the post code and address specified and it took us right up to a farm...that wasnt Stone Sleights. We even drove around asking local old geezers for directions but we never managed to find the place! I'm sure we can't have been more than a mile or two from you but it wasn't to be. Hopefully you didnt wait around too long.
After 10.10am we decided to quit and head up to Dalby where we bumped into Debs! (and several hundred other weekend warriors).
Next time we'll bring an OS map!

You missed a fair bit of mud and the sight of new boy Kieran (16) do the Hill Climb in 7.15 . Awesome and no wonder I can't shake him going up hill.
