We’ll go East on Saturday..... “The Traditional Training Route”....that is :- York - Malton via the Buttercrambe road, Coneysthorpe, Terrington, then a loop of the Sheriff Hutton/Stillington circuit (right at the mini roundabout after the climb into Sheriff) then back to York.

See you at Exhibition Square with a view to leaving by 9.00

Not quite enough to have two groups or more so about 10 of us set off. It was pretty steady up to Malton. No doubt thinking of up coming races in the next 5 or 6 weeks the pace did start to ramp up at Terrington. There was some strong riders today and at times I found I was having a bit of a tussle with my handlebars to say in the mix. Not sure what zone, HR or watts expended but it was definitely hard work :)

Yeah - good ride.

Felt about right for this time of year I think. Like Cam, I had a few moments where I was finding it tough but fortunately no-one decided to really put the hammer down.

Lost a couple which was unfortunate but always likely on this route.

Cheers

Yep, good solid riding, decent pace I had a sniff under 20mph for my 70miles.

Also enjoying the sprint finish into Haxby!

Hoping we head south this week so i can make it out, need a slightly shorter one as I am racing a TT on the Sunday,

Cheers
Sharpy
