Thursday Night Chaingang

Hi
I'm hopefully going to be out on Thursday evening. What time does the Cycleworks chaingang set off? Does it meet just opposite the shop?
Are any Clifton guys regulars?

Hi Mart, it leaves from opposite the shop at 6pm PROMPT! About 60km flat but fast on the way back from Pocklington.
I'm normally out with them but not this week or next as i'm away

Its on my 'list of times to go ride my bike' for this week. The rides are really good workouts, but don't bring deep-section wheels as the road back from Melbourne/Elvington is rough to say the least. Pairs take turns on the front to start, there's a sprint to the 30 restriction at Pocklington most weeks followed by a regrouping in to town, and then through and off kicks in. Riders definitely do get dropped along the way.

Well - that was fun.
I am obviously the only one foolish enough to go out on a night like this as no-one else turned up!
Got a decent solo ride in anyway.
Shame really as, after missing a few training rides and lasting 2 miles in my last race, I fancied a bit of group riding before Sunday.
