Had to use DS privilege (sit behind and shout instructions) for a few miles today to make sure I didn't get popped on the up bit last lap. I think it was my first ride with Duncan, very strong today. I look forward to racing with him.... Unless he's at the front killing it! Young Martin used every gear he had on his bike, never in the same gear for more than 2 minutes. It's funny what you focus on when you're struggling eh?

A race next week, come a month too soon I think but I'm on domestique duty for Martin

Course is definitely sporting but it would be great with Tarmac on it.

I've felt a bit grotty over the last few days so was taking no chances and dropped down to the little ring for every bump in the road (well spotted Damian ).

Good riding and a decent pace even with the wind and a slippery last lap. I forgot to press 'lap' as we set off onto the course so no score for first lap . Second lap: 22.5mph average and 22.4mph for the third. Not bad, all things considered.
