Hi Everyone!
We would like to tell you all about Kidscan’s Manchester to Chester Bike ride taking place on 15th June 2014!
It’s going to be bigger and better than before! This year's ride offers an opportunity to raise the challenge a gear (or two) by boosting the 53 mile route to an heroic hundred miles.
From the start at Platt Fields Park in Manchester, follow the 53 mile route across the rolling Cheshire Plain and scale the wooded heights of Delamere Forest, then either finish the ride at Christleton Hall on the outskirts of Chester or keep on rolling and complete the circuit, back at the 'second finish' in Manchester.
This event has been organised in aid of Kidscan, the children’s cancer research charity. Kidscan don’t receive anything from the registration fee, so we’re hopeful that you will all be happy to help raise vital funds.
Kidscan will be able to send you all the necessary sponsorship materials you might need including creating you an online sponsor page, personalised sponsor forms and even a text to donate code!
If you commit to raising over £50 for the charity we will send you a Kidscan t-shirt for you to wear when you take part!
Kidscan receive no statutory funding for their research into new treatments and cures for childhood cancers, so by fundraising for us, you will really be making a big difference to the lives of children with cancer.
