Are you ready for the Tour Down Under
In less than 2 months, January 2008, Adelaide in South Australia will host the first Pro Tour Cycling event of 2008.
There will be 18 Professional International Cycling Teams, 140 of the world’s best cyclists competing for the coveted title “Winner Tour Down Under 2008”, not since the Sydney Olympics in 2000 have so many of the world’s top cyclists raced in Australia and “you could be there to see the action live” riding with your own “professional team” practicebicycle.com
Many seasoned cyclists say that this is the very best place to meet and watch the pro’s, it’s your chance to experience European Racing here in the heart of Australia’s wine region.
This will be the 10th edition of The Tour Down Under, and it will also be the first time it is run as a Pro tour event. To help celebrate its 10th birthday, the Tour Down Under will have the great Miguel Indurain as guest of honour, Miguel is one of a select group of cyclists that has won The Tour De France FIVE times, the others being Anquetil, Merckx, Hinualt, and of course Lance Armstrong.
Last year, the cyclists and non-cyclists that toured with us shared with us an evening with another Tour De France winner and the owner of Team CSC, Bjarne Riis, what a night that was!
