Bonjour!
We run a catered chalet business in the French Alps and host training camps for all sports and abilities throughout the year. We are both ex international athletes and see the wonderful potential that this area has to offer as a training venue and hope that you may wish to take advantage of it too.
The chalet is in the beautifulvillage ofSamoens, 45mins fromGenevaairport and at the foot of the infamous Col de Joux Plane which has beaten many a Tour de France contender including Lance Armstrong! We are on the valley floor which stretches for kilometres but also leads to many other notorious climbs. There are hundreds of off road tracks too, as well as walking, running and cross country ski trails, alpine ski runs, a swimming pool, plus white water rafting, climbing, parapenting....so numerous cross training activities.
Sleeping a maximum of 14 the chalet has ample space for team meetings and equipment storage plus we are on hand to help tailor make your training camp to suit your needs. You can use our chalet, vehicle backup and catering and bring your own team of experts, or you can take advantage of Mark's skill as a coach, and sports psychologist.
Mark has been involved in sport all his life and has been coaching for 15 years. Most recently he has worked with the Cambridge University Boat Club and their wealth of athletes from Olympians to beginners and the Great Britain Rowing Team. He is a nutritionist and can help with all areas of diet; can organise training schedules; chair group meetings...in fact he can help with all aspects of your training!
