Do-it-yourself timed climbing race= cheaper offers for groups!
After the timed climbing race in of last 25th May, the tourist office of Biella installed ado-it-yourself systemto enable all bikers to check and compare their times with those of the professionals of the “Giro”. You can buy a card that you check in at the departure, in Biella and out at the arrival.
Therefore, no organized timed climbing race means cheaper offers for your stay in Biella during the “Gran Fondo of the Biella Prealps”!
New entry of the 13th race of the “Italian Championship” and part of the “Piedmont Michelin Cup”, a series of seven different races around Piedmont, the “Gran Fondo of the Biella Prealps” is a great chance to discover our province on your beloved bike.
With our special ”short break”, ”racers” and “friends & family” offers (details in the file included), both the racers and their companions can spend the days before the race discovering our area and the huge range of activities that this territory offers.
25th May 2007: for the fourth time in its history, the Pink Giro was back to Biella with a great stage: the 13 km individual timed climbing race to Oropa, for sure one of the most interesting oneswith its: 13 kmof length, 718 m height difference, 5,5% average slope, 13% max. slope.
