Hi

My name isPhil Huntand together with my partner Majorie we are in the process of setting up a catered chalet holiday business in Morzine which is located in the French Alps. Whilst we appreciate that most people associate theAlpswith skiing there are endless possibilities for any cycling enthusiast.

For those who are interested in mountain biking and off-roading, the lift system has been adapted to allow bikes opening a huge scope for cross country routes, bike trials and downhill courses to suit all abilities of cyclist. The lifts allowing you to access these areas open from the end of June through to the first week of September and open up a staggering 450kms of routes.

If you prefer road cycling, the area’s numerous mountain passes would provide some very challenging and rewarding routes combined with some breathtaking scenery. With the Tour de France having been through the town it is possible to attempt routes and timed sections to see how you would fair against the professionals.

The temperature throughout the months of July and August averages around the early 20’s providing some fantastic conditions for cycling. In the event of you wanting a day out of the saddle then there are a number of other activities to choose from including para-gliding, white water rafting or even relaxing at the chalet, enjoying the outdoor pool in the centre of town or one of the lakes in the region.

To find out more about us, the service that we offer and pricing please see our website www.morzinemomentum.com As this will be our first year we are keen to establish strong links with clubs such as yours to build a relationship with and develop over the coming years. For this purpose we would be happy to discuss benefits that we would offer to club members.

We look forward to hearing from you soon and hope that we will be seeing some of you inFrancesoon.

Cheers

Phil & Majorie
