Dear Cyclist

We are writing to you to let you know about an event that members of
your cycle club may be interested in.

The British Red Cross is organising two cycle rides in Dalby forest in
North Yorkshire on the 12th October. There is a family friendly 8 mile
route and a 23 mile route for more experienced cyclists.

The 23 mile route starts at 9.30am and is a route on variable terrain
of single track with sections of forest roads also with some steep
climbs and descents. The 8 mile cycle starts at 10.30am is a simpler
route on mixed terrain of forest roads with some climbs and descents.
Both routes have been designed in conjunction with the Forestry
Commission and start at Low Dalby car park.

There is a registration fee of £10 and we ask that you raise a minimum
of £100. Prizes are available for the highest amounts raised. There will
be subsidised parking on the day it is usually £7 but for Red Cross
participants it will be £1. There is a registration form attached for
you to print off and pass onto other cyclists you know.

All the money raised enables the Red Cross to continue the work they do
helping people in crisis.

Kind Regards

David Steele
