Answer: Illuminating!
Especially this Sunday, when Dr Peter Thompson, one of the creators of York's famous solar system scale model along the Selby Cycle way will lead a conducted bike trip into outer space. And guarantees he'll get you back younger than you started.
The tour will start at the Millenium Bridge at 11am, and I imagine a picnic lunch stop at Riccall will be made for return to York about mid afternoon.
You can preview on: www.solar.york.ac.uk
Have a look also at the photo gallery to get a glimpse what I else I got up to before bikes started to rule weekends.
Altogether recommended, and VERY family-friendly!
