Message from a Mr Ken Haywood - can anyone help?

My wife and I record War Memorials and Rolls of Honour in the York area for the UK National Inventory of War Memorials, which is based at the Imperial War Museum in London.

Some while ago, we were made aware of your Roll of Honour from the First World War, which used to be on display in the Old Grey Mare. It is referred to in the potted history of the club written by Messrs. Dixon and Hails in 1995.

I would be obliged if you could let me know the present whereabouts of the Roll of Honour, so that we could make arrangements to record it, and send the details off to the National Inventory.

Incidentally i had no idea of the significance of the Old Grey Mare or the fact we had a potted club history - anyone got a copy i may borrow please?
