Dear All,
Another great event organised by Andy Frazer and his team at York Cycle works. Perfect conditions and hard efforts resulted in some excellent times. 36 competitors took part with only 1 dnf. The dnf rider did not heed marshals warnings at a T junction resulting in a close call with a motorist. The rider then went the wrong way. I did see him returning to the start as I was leaving so hopefully his number 32 was returned. The rider was not a Clifton member. Advice will be given at the earliest opportunity!
Michael Jeffrey has kindly offered to sort out the results which will be posted up tomorrow so please bear with us for a day.
Finally, thanks again to all the volunteers who officiated to ensure the event went ahead and of course to all the competitors.
