Many thanks to Neil Kerry for volunteering to organise heat 6 of our 2019 Thursday Evening SPOCO TT Series.

It's another "Come and try it" event on the 6 mile, rolling High Stittenham Course at Sheriff Hutton and we still require a Timekeeper, Marshalls and additional helpers to ensure that the fixture goes ahead as planned. You can volunteer by adding your name against the appropriate Role in the Event Spreadsheet. This course is also an ideal opportunity for newbie competitors to give Time-Trialling a go and would-be organisers and helpers to assist and see how things work on the night.

Sign-on starts at 7pm with the first rider off at 7:30pm and it's £5 for seniors, £2 for juniors. Please try to bring the correct money on the evening, either £5 notes or change in coins, as we don't carry a float.

Going forward, it's essential that we have organisers, timekeepers and marshalls in place as early as possible in this Series, so please volunteer for future rounds by adding your name against the appropriate Role in the Event Spreadsheet.

Event Organisers receive £25 and Timekepers £10.

Thanks for posting this up Craig. Ive mentioned to Neil that we need 2 timekeepers for this event, one at the start and one at the finish. The fast riders are getting round this course in 15 mins so competitors are starting as the early numbers are finishing. Big thanks to Neil for volunteering to organise the event.

Kind regards David

As David mentioned in the previous post, the short nature of the High Stittenham Course means that we really require two people to handle Timekeeping duties and, as things currently stand, nobody has committed to doing this.

It would also be good if we had additional volunteers to assist with pushing-off and marshalling duties.

I know that extra people usually come along on the evening itself, always welcome, but it would be great if we could get some names, up front, against the roles on the Event Spreadsheet, just to give us confidence that the event can go ahead.
