Looks like weather conditions should be better than last week for Event 2 of our 2019 Thursday Evening SPOCO TT Series.

This time, it's the "Come and try it" event on the 6 mile, rolling High Stittenham Course at Sheriff Hutton, an ideal opportunity for newbie competitors to give Time-Trialling a go and a chance for would-be organisers and helpers to see how things work on the night.

Sign-on starts at 7pm with the first rider off at 7:30pm and it's £5 for seniors, £2 for juniors. Please try to bring the correct money on the evening, either £5 notes or change in coins, as we don't carry a float.

Going forward, it's imperative that we have organisers, timekeepers and marshalls in place as early as possible for the other events in this Series and you can volunteer by adding your name against the appropriate Role in the Event Spreadsheet. Organisers receive £25 and Timekepers £10.

Hi Craig. For the ‘come try it’ does everyone have to be a Clifton member? Asking for a friend :) Honestly.

As far as I'm aware, you(r friend) can ride on the evening as a guest of the Club. So as long as the rider limit (40) for the event isn't reached - with priority being given to Clifton, Cycleworks, York Tri Club and Malton Wheelers riders - you(r friend) should be fine.

Just for clarification- I will set up sign on up at the roundabout gravel pull over at the top of the village - unless informed otherwise: Bob
