Details are now available for the 2008 series of races, expanded to 9 events with the Bishops Wood circuit near Cawood being used for the first time. Dates are:-

For anyone thinking of venturing into road racing for the first time, these events really are spot on. Handicapped (so you set off in a group of roughly equal riders) and on safe roads, and each one about 30 miles. There's always a few of us ride out to them too. Plus we won the team prize this year - let's make it a double!

Is there an entry form for the series anywhere?

Not on the race series site, but I'd reckon the standard TLI event entry form should do the job - available at http://www.theleagueinternational.com/0 ... ryform.htm

Message from the series organisers:-

"It may only be January, but entries are already arriving for the 2008 TLI road race series. There may be limited spaces this series as more people are getting to know about the series and showing an interest.
To help us, and to make sure you get a place, if you intend to ride the whole series, could you please send in your entry as soon as possible. You can enter by sending your entry with your cheque OR just send us your entry and pay for the series at the first race. All the race details can be found on our website at www.yorkshiretliseries.net
We look forward to seeing you all again in April."

So.. ..get those entries in. For any of you out there that are thinking of dipping your toes in the water, this is a great way into road racing.
