As long rides go, this is fairly accessible. About 270k, surprisingly rolling at times, and a real varied route.

First café comes after around 100k of Woldian lanes at what veterans of this ride call "Camp Bastion" in Withernsea. Then its down the coast to the Head. Coming back we cross the Greenwich Meridian then round Sunk Islands to Paul. We found a fantastic church coffee afternoon their 3 years ago, but failing that we may be refuelling a petrol station in Heddon. From there it's back via the waterfront in Hull and the southern Wolds.

0730 start from the Square. Expect to be back around 12 hours later.
Bring plenty of food. Steen advises proper food. You won't get round this on gels....
Come prepared for some proper group riding too - consistent pace, share the work.

Should be a grand day out.

Sorry Andy, only just spotted this.
You missed a cracker. Stayed dry all day, fantastic mix of lanes, coast, urban bike paths and lands that time forgot.
259km, door to door, and we finished strongly with a head wind line out back from South Cave in the early evening sunshine....
Chapeaux to AndyG, SteenB and AndrewL
