SPOCO T.T. Sheriff/Whenby/Brandsby 12.5 - Thurs 11th. of May
Posted: Mon May 08, 2017 8:21 am
Following on from the tremendous success of the first event in this Series, held last Thursday, the next round is the Sheriff/Whenby/Brandsby Rolling 12.5 this Thursday evening (the 11th. of May) with the first rider off at 07:30pm.
Chris Rowley has volunteered to Timekeep again, many thanks Chris, but as things stand we still require an Organiser, Marshals and "pusher-offer" for this event to go ahead. So please post a reply here, or, better still, add your name to the appropriate box on the Volunteer Spreadsheet if you can help with any of the roles.
As an added incentive, this year we are offering £25 to the Organiser and £10 to the Timekeeper at each event but if the required personnel aren't in place by midnight on the Tuesday beforehand then the round will have to be cancelled.
It would fantastic if additional "new" volunteers could come along on Thursday Evening, just to see how things work and to put us in a good place for the rest of the season. As mentioned above, you can volunteer for any role in the Thursday Evening Time-Trial events by simply placing your name against the relevant position on the Volunteer Spreadsheet.
Chris, and Bernard, are very experienced Timekeepers and so Thursday is a perfect opportunity for someone else to come along and learn, under no pressure, what's involved in this role. Instructions on how to Timekeep can also be found Here
Or if you fancy competing then you can read about how to start Time-Trialing Here and come along to any of the Thursday Evening events. We will also be holding a special "Come and try it" event at High Stittenham on Thursday the 1st. of June.
Full details of the Thursday Evening Time-Trial Series can be viewed Here
Many thanks,
Craig
