Race report anyone?
Heard that at least one of our new recruits had a go (Rich).....

Race report:- Yup, in addition to Rich we had a mighty Clifton team - Muzzy and Matt in the scratch group, Arthur, Andy Johnson, Nick and I in the third group, and Ian H and Steve in the second (plus Broomwagon marshalling). Four laps of the Aldborough circuit, run on pretty much dry roads and under clear skies despite the deluge which came down during the day. Most of the early groups got caught by the middle of the race, and a small break got away on the last lap with Muzzy in it. The rest of us filled out the bunch, and as we rounded the last corner for the dash up to the line the front was pretty solidly red'n'black. The sprint was the usual slightly messy affair where some people dealt with it better than others - Muzzy got third, Andy J got 9th, and the rest of us were outside the top ten to varying extents. So, we got two in the top ten, Yorkshire Road Club got one... ...which means we lead the team classification by one point going into the final event in two weeks! Come on lads, let's pack it out again!
