This week our Wednesday venue is an evening Lanequest at Hovingham.
Start location is the Malt Shovel PH in Hovingham (GR667757).
Registration is from 5.30-6.20 and start is from 5.30-6.30 so we'll need to be going early from York.
At registration you will receive your control card and description list.
There are 30 controls worth 525 points - and the usual penalties for lateness
Controls are signs/dates etc on minor roads and bridleways
You will need a waterproof pen to write the answers on your control card
The winning solo or pair in each category will get a free drink
Bar meals and refreshments in the pub afterwards
Please order your bar meal at registration before you start.
You can enter solo, pairs, mixed pairs or generation (with your kids or granny). Alternatively there'll be a fun category for those who just want to turn up and have a go.
I've asked the organiser to reserve 6 maps for us. If anyone plans to go please let me know on this thread or at info@cliftoncc.org just so I know rough numbers and can let them know if we need more.
