Prompted partly by the earlier debate on here and subsequent discussions going on elsewhere, we thought we'd open up the topic to wider debate.
This isn't an extension of the earlier thread, this is to ask members' opinions on the format of the 8.45 ride on Saturday morning.
We set this up a while back in response to people asking for a half day social ride. The format is supposed to be 8.45 start, brisk non-stop, sociable .and back for lunch. After some tweaks to the format we had a large attendance on this ride initially with15+ on some. However, it gradually tailed off and stopped for while before being resurrected in a slightly different format.
We're particularly interested in hearing from those that asked for it originally, those that were coming out and then stopped (why?), and those that might be interested in a half day ride.
1. What format do you want?
2. What timing do you want? Sat/Sun, am/pm?
3. What's stopping you using it currently?
4. Are you willing to help lead/organise rides, even on the occasional basis?
