Despite the weather, there's a fantastic weekend of Mountain Biking available on the Wolds this weekend.

NYMBO are not only running 2 Trailquests (1 Sat, 1 Sun) but they're also hosting the Summer Polaris Challenge. Both Events use the same courses, maps and checkpoints, based from Sledmere House on the Wolds. If you've always fancied having a go at a Polaris this is an excellent opportunity to see the event first hand but do a cut down version. The Polaris is 7 hours Saturday, 5 hours Sunday. The NYMBO event is 4 hours and 3 hours.

There's camping, food, entertainment and show tents at the site which will be a hub of activity from Friday night through to Sunday evening.

The good news is that there's still places available for the Polaris which you can enter on the Saturday. You can enter the NYMBO trailquests on each day too but best to email first to ensure they can plan for enough maps.

Put on your knobblies and waterproofs and give it a go!
