Following on from my earlier points, ANYONE who is remotely interested in having a go at an xc race next year, why not come with me on Sunday to the last one of the season and have a go? If you're not sure, come and watch (or pass me a bottle!!). Categories to suit everyone!

Good suggestion Charlie. However, I'm committed to the Arthur Metcalfe ride this weekend and clubruns whereever possible on other weekends. So while I'm dead keen that we push the weekend off-road stuff as a club, unfortunately it won't include me at this stage...
