Following on from last night's OGM, and to get a clearer picture of what the club membership does, cycling-wise through the year, I've opened this thread (and a couple of related ones which follow). Doubtless there'll be chat about this sort of stuff out on the various club runs BUT it would be really useful if you could post your responses here too.

Okay.. will kick it off..

This year I...

Did 14 BC road races of various sorts, scoring 0 (nil) points but having a few finishes just outside the top ten
Did my first circuit race and loved it
Did both of the Boroughbridge TLI series and got 6th overall in the first and 5= in the second
Did three of the Clifton SPOCO events (no further comment)
Did 3 LVRC vets races
Rode out to and cheered on clubmates in a couple of other races
Did the Clifton chaingang whenever possible
Did about ten or so of the Saturday training rides (family arrangements prevented more) and about the same number of Sunday clubruns (at least in part!)
Talked my daughter into spectating at her first race
...and overall pedalled just over 5,000 miles according to my ride-logging software.

Okay.. who's next?

Thanks Phil, here's mine:

Have led about 80% of the Sunday Clubruns
Have led most of the Wed evening mtb rides, I think, 8 in total
Clifton Reliability
Three Bridges Audax
Dales Grimpeur Audax 180
Yorkshire Alps
Tan Hill Audax
Whitby YH Weekend
One Open TT (the Lakes one)

Still plan to do the Arthur Metcalfe ride, the Autumn YH weekend, possibly another winter solstice epic and time-keep at the Hill Climb. On course for about 7500 miles this year.

Did the TLI Second Series at Boroughbridge - won one and joint first in the series.
Did a few Open TT's - Border City Wheelers (fantastic!), Scarborough Paragon, Hull Thurs.
Rode 10 Spocos and organised 2.
Did 4 audaxes - 3 Bridges, Tan Hill, Dales Grimpeur, Ron Kitchen.
Did 2 Cyclosportives - Fred Whitton, Etape du Dales.
Did Reliability and Yorkshire Alps.
Rode chaingangs.
Rode Saturday and Sunday runs (early season).
Clocked up 4000 miles so far.

Managed as many Sunday rides as i could and joined the gang for the annual Dales Grimpeur epic
Plus most of the mid week MTB rides
Clifton reliability
Bit down on last years Audax adventures but after a late surge should get onto the AAA roll of honour and a Brevet 500 award
6 club events i think, including one with my oldest daughter Holly on the kiddyback tandem
Hope to make the hill climb
Organised 2 audax events on behalf of Clifton CC
And took on a couple of the spocos including dipping my toe into time keeping
Have also mixed it up with cyclists outside our club including a MTB ride with Oaklands School up at Dalby Forest and a couple of local Audax events put on by North Yorks DA
Marshalled at the Pete Longbottom memorial race and joined in the fun at Duncombe Park
As a family we are back on the road - including trips to Beningbrough
Holly got an Islabike at the CTC Rally and is riding solo
Millie is doing v well on the back of the tandem
And during the week you can see Liz around town with Jacob on the childseat
The boy wonder also got his first bike this year (a Scott from Cycle Heaven would you believe) and is v pleased with himself as he can now pedal it
