It's getting nearer 12 June.....There are scores of you out there apparently who ticked on their membership form that they are interested in helping out at events like this. Still lots of opportunities to volunteer to help at these events. If you can spare a few hours on the day please let me know

Its getting a lot of views this thread isn't it....Is there not much on the telly As stated before loads of you are ticking the box on your membership forms saying you want to help...So now is your chance! I'll have to make a decison in a couple of weeks as to whether we go ahead or not ...Seems a shame for want of 6-7 more volunteers...So come on...give it go. You never know you might actually enjoy the experience

Thanks to all who have stuck their hands up to help. We are still short of volanteers though. I need to be sending start sheets for both races out at the w/e. If we don't get enough volunteers the events will be cancelled. The number I have asked for really is the bare minimum and we can't "wing it" with the people we have already.

Well...we can put the BC race on now...Still short of 3 marshalls for the LVRC in the morning though. There will be a lot of old men, many of them grandfathers mind you, sucking anxiously on their 'Werthers Originals' and waiting to see if this race can go ahead

So...one last push please... 3 more volunteers needed to Marshall the Vets race. I have booked good weather . You will get some free grub courtesy of Cath and Paul back at HQ at lunchtime and you will enjoy it (the whole experience....not just the food)!

BTW...can all the drivers in the BC race send me PMs with their full name, car make and model, car reg. number and BC license number.

Barbara ...if you could Marshall in the morning and perhaps help with signing on and also on the finish line for the BC race in the afternoon? Steve Savage took the last Marshall slot in the BC race
