Im not so sure, its another scandal, yes, but the end of cycling as we know it? No.
It easier to test for and spot than chemical doping so on that basis it is an additional consideration nothing more.
Chemical doping in amateur cycling is worse than I thought but it is harder than you might think to stay "clean", I have not been great a checking all the things I consume / take to make sure they are not on the WADA list, although that has changed as I dont want to be caught out as ignorance is not excuse.
There will always be cheats, I dont know what they get out of it, the sense of satisfaction and achievement must be diminished if you cheat, I work blooming hard and am pleased when I get a good result, but I am annoyed when I find one of the people that beat me has been found with PEDs in his system, that takes something away from me (and not just the money I would have got).
Either way it happens and I doubt it will ever change,
Cheers
