Re: Sunday 23rd Feb - The Kiplingcotes Canter
I've been out the past three Sunday's with a couple of friends, averaging around 40-45 miles, at 15-16 mph, with no stops. I'd love to make this Sunday club ride a regular thing for me but 70 miles is beyond what I've been doing of late. Would this group carry me along for the first few weeks or can ...

Saturday 'K' Ride
Can anyone confirm what the distance / riding time is likely to be for today's 10am 'K' ride as the website guide says 60-70 miles and arriving back between 4.30 and 5.30, albeit during Summer months, and so I'd just like to know before deciding whether to head down or not.
Thanks in advance.

Set of ITM wheels (Road Bike)
Hi everyone,
I have a set of ITM wheels for sale. Not very old and look good, however, I've been informed that the freehub body needs replacing or repairing, something that I am incapable of doing. I have a spare set that I am now using but the ITMs cost me £145 and so I'm reluctant to throw them ...

Cheers, guys, that has made me feel a lot better. If anyone has any recommendations on a ride that may be more suitable, I'd really appreciate it as there are a few different rides and I didn't know which one to go with.
But for those that can handle 50ish miles at a brisk pace with no stops, it is ...

Thank you to the Saturday, 8.45 riders
At 17 miles I was 'dropped' and despite you all being very kind and slowing down a bit, I could seed where it was heading and decided to peel away and head home. Certainly I need to add some more miles to the legs before I can stay in the peleton. But I thoroughly enjoyed it and the couple of chaps ...

Bit of a long shot ..
Seeing as it's early, but can anyone confirm if the 8.45 'K' ride is actually at 8.45 as the website appears to say 10am? Probably me being a doofus and not reading it right but don't really want to rock up and then have to head home ....
As I say though, long shot as I'll have to leave in 25 ...

New to York and looking to ride/get fit
Hello everyone,
I've just moved to York and although I've been riding on and off for the past 8 years, I've 'fallen off the bike' so to speak over the past 12 months due to graduating, getting married, and relocating twice. However, we are now looking to put down roots in York and therefore I'm ...
