Thanks for the suggestions. We only have one volunteer marshal on this course but he has been briefed to get to the finish once the bunch passes him.

Craig the photographer may also be there so that will help.

Fraz and I will aim to be at HQ for 17.00.

Drivers if you can aim to be there by 18.00 that would be great. If you can arrive sooner please let me know; you could potentially help out with signing on etc. Please try to park where you won't be boxed in ahead of the race.

I think in the context of Tuesday night's race we need to remember that the weather was treacherous. Only one guy came off and that was at the end of the event after nearly an hour of racing and he only had himself to blame.

That was certainly an experience.

I was introduced to my highest recorded heart rate and that was in the first few miles so there was no way I could stay with the main group.

I note that Julie's race report mentions 50 mph for the first five miles; I didn't record anything in that region but it ...

Just for info; I have an entry for tonight's race but I am concerned about some heel pain I have. I fear it might be Plantar Fascitis and therefore I risk making this worse by racing. It has been getting worse over recent weeks.

I probably therefore won't be starting so if any of you are hoping ...

I'd go for a 4th only followed by 2/3/4 or similar but one way to test the water would be to add a post to the Yorkshire Circuit Series group on facebook
