Just read about this fundraising effort by the junior section in the York Press , which suggests that the cumulative distances ridden by groups over this coming weekend is how they hope to meet the target distance!

Saturday K ride was a mix of Inters & K riders with Craig B Pete Smith, Claire & I, being the only ones out, probably more being put off because of the forecast. Up date on this ride, in view of the up coming rides over this weekend and the following one, I am now looking for proposals for week ends in August, please post here the dates that suit you and we will then try to work out a date to cover the majority of the dates that you put up.

Thanks James I will now add this date to the draft list for the Challenge ride series, and in order to give members as much notice as possible, I will then ask Craig to get it onto the website. Other rides can be added later as appropriate, for example there are no Audax rides from Wiggington listed ...

Hi James, I think that your suggested date in May would find you with a bit of competition as it is the Tour de Yorkshire that weekend, of course you might like the challenge !
