Re: Pub! End of season reflection/training rides re-boot/rac
Are 2nd claim members welcome? I did volunteer at Clifton RR Day this year!
For Saturday mornings, subject to numbers of people showing up, how about offering a hilly group and a flatter group, rather than fast and faster, at least some weeks? Would perhaps be more useful and would avoid the sudden ...

Re: Clifton Evening Road Race 26.6.2015
I shall most likely by up for finish line/marshalling - if I can do the junction after the finish, then ride back to the finish in the last lap, it'll make for better reporting on the series website. Curious as to how this circuit got picked - are we done with using Wheldrake?

Cycleworks Spring Circuit Races
Hello all,
I'm running some circuit races for 'the shop' on Saturdays in April and May, featuring the first ever "3rd Cat only" races on the YorkSport circuit (apparently). The first is 11th April, entry on the BC system: https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/events/details/126378/York-Cycleworks ...

Re: Clifton 'Season Ender' circuit races
Hi folks, still really in need of a couple of extra bodies for this. The offer of a Masters race hasn't produced a field, so if you can go on the Saturday 9am ride, shower, eat and get to the circuit by 1.45 that would be great. Don't make me send Phil round with menaces! Offers of hot drinks from ...

Volunteers, please! Clifton 'Season Ender' circuit races
Hello all,
Its the Clifton Season Ender circuit races at YorkSport this Saturday from 2 to 5pm. Having got these off the ground, I'm now short on volunteers - I've got someone to help with sign on, but a couple of extras bodies to watch the hairpin (now obscured by the velodrome), assist with sign ...

Clifton 'Season Ender' circuit races
Hello all,
Finally managed to push the levers of British Cycling hard enough to get this one moving. Bit late, but hopefully we it'll still come off as a good day, even if numbers aren't what they could have been with more lead-in time. We didn't host any city-centre races this year, so think of it ...

Re: Tour De Yorkshire - Where were you?
Great to read everyone else's stories. I may hold some sort of club record, though.
Stage 1 - Harrogate: Partner and I jumped onto a train that was full already, only to have more people climb on board. In Harrogate we pottered around the finish area then headed for the fan park - friend handed us ...

Re: Clifton Day of Racing
Hello,
Big thanks to everyone who did so much to make it a great day, even just as a marshal. Congratulations to Messrs Sharp and Pape for contributing much desired points to both my club and shop - Cycleworks RT are now 5th in the region and Clifton 7th! Also, thanks Sharpie - I'd been going round ...

Martin - you must have done well to hit the front when you did as I saw you drift behind me not long before.
I wonder if we need a longer race to shake it out and calm everyone down?

Re: NYERRL - 5 - 26 June 2014
I did wonder how come two hands went up right at the exact same moment. Wasn't it in Thorganby? Didn't spot any the two times I passed on my own.
