Hope are nice look good, but are heavy i have gone for Formula ORO k18 on my bike and are loving them. They are very light weight and can easy change the pads on them. You can can good offers on them at Merlin. Only downside is the rear hose is rather short!

Im running Maxxis Crossmarks on my Stumpy FSR and i found them to be great around Dalby, fast rolling and plenty of cornerring grip in the dry. If its wet then i have heard great things about Shwalbe Nobby Nics although not tried them myself!

Have you had a look at Canyon bikes there are cheap get some good kit for your money. Only draw back is they are mail order only!
