Re: Proposed 2019 SPOCO TT Series
Dave, I think you've nailed it, this looks a great mix of courses
2 short, 4 flat, 3 hilly, 2 undulating
I hope you've arranged for the same weather as we enjoyed this year too.
Seriously though, thank you for organising another year of events.

Re: 2018 SPOCO TT Series report & 2019 proposals
The 2018 series was a resounding success, I'd like to thank Dave and everybody else involved as I think you got the formula almost perfect this year.
The only downside for me was that there were only 2 hilly courses in the programme. I know these were then cancelled through roadworks which was ...

Thanks again to Dave and all involved for another great event...
On a slightly sour note, I had a junior rider sit on my wheel for over 2 miles tonight, gaining a considerable advantage over the other juniors.
Can we all stick to the rules in future please for safety and fairness!

Re: Men’s national champ.
Agreed, a brilliant result for a local lad, and at such a young age, he will go far.
Now he is the national champ, I don't feel quite so bad about the 7 and a half minutes he put into me at the Whenby TT the other week.

Re: 05/07/2018 Thurs SPOCO T.T. - Course Change & Volunteers
Gutted to lose the only lumpy course on the schedule this year again, hope we can return to it if the traffic lights are gone next week?
Thanks for arranging for Whenby to be raced this week instead, I think its most peoples favourite course...

Re: SPOCO TT 2018 Series is GO! -Volunteers please.
Dave, just wanted to say a huge thank you for organising the 12 evening events for 2018. Thank you also for retaining 4 events covering 2 of the original SPOCO courses, I have marked those dates in my diary already!
Like Paul, I will confirm which events I can organise / marshal nearer the time ...

Re: SPOCO TT series 2018
No problem Dave, I had thought of suggesting it before...
Clifton are well represented at the Castle Howard Tri so this could be popular with members if we do the circuit at least once before the 3rd week in July to benefit anyone doing the event next year

Re: SPOCO TT series 2018
Dave,
I like the look of the new course but agree, the right turn at Hovingham could be dangerous. Have you considered the Castle Howard sprint tri bike route, it's 14 miles and has enough lumps to be of interest to those of us who like to use the gears ;-) could start and finish anywhere along the ...

Re: SPOCO TT series 2018
Would it be possible to look again at extending the Sutton 9.7 to a full 10 miles. I always feel a bit cheated when I don’t achieve a valid flat 10 time after this event.
I know the finish was moved for safety reasons but is there anywhere else on the circuit where we could safely start and finish ...

Re: SPOCO TT series 2018
That schedule looks a good mix to me Dave, I think you've provided something for everyone, and any courses which don't suit particular riders are always good opportunities to marshall or organise.
Thank you for organising the series for another year, it is much appreciated.

Re: SPOCO TT series 2018
I personally love Bulmer Bank and try to compete at all the hillier events. The introduction of Wheldrake in 2017 was brilliant, however it meant that there was 4 flat 10s in the series.
Therefore my choice would (A) keep the 2017 event calender or (D) to have Hovingham included to add some ...

That's exactly how I wash my kit currently David, never shrunk or damaged anything.
Just wondered if Pactimo was any different before I throw it in.

Pactimo kit washing instructions
Collected my new kit today, looks and fits great, but the washing instructions are very specific.
I've always thrown cycling kit of all brands in the wash with everything else with no issues.
Im wondering if anyone has any experience of washing Pactimo kit, should I follow the labels or will it ...
