I agree,the intermediate ride is hard, the speed is not the issue with me, its the flat out up all climbs and the overall distance. As a person who cycles in addition to other sports, the distance is too far for me, 70 is ideal, not 90-100 as it leaves me too tired to do the traditional runners long ...

My bottom bracket began to fall apart as we started the climb out of Snainton, I told the guy riding with me that I would have to stop. I waited a while and then crawled onto Thornton Le Dale and got my wife to drive out and collect me. Very enjoyable ride up to that point
