Re: Congratulations Cavan and Anna!

Yup, super well done Clifton, was mighty impressed with the efforts. So glad I managed to fit in the Otley Town Centres whilst visiting the North again.
Sure do miss the old club, ain't the same down south :( and they don't have proper hills. Or proper tea at cafe stops. :)

Don't ever let me hear you moaning about poor roads again

One for those who like to ride, not one for those who like to keep the bike scratch free. Still it might make you rethink how strong you consider your equipment to be.

I propose this to be the Saturday Inters route this week ;)

Darn it. I was thinking of coming out for my first club run for ages this Sunday but this ride two years ago was the last Sunday ride I joined and it nearly killed me when I was "fit".
Enjoy as it is a true belter, be prepared to curse Rob under your breath as you take in what seems like every hill ...

Cafe Etiquette

Very nearly made it back to a Clifton ride yesterday, if only for having to walk the dog and change both tyres on the bike I'd have made it to the square before 10:10am. Never mind, I managed a wet and hilly 65miles on my tod.
Anyhooos, just found this piece again and it rang a few bells - http ...

BIKE SOLD

I wish Alex many happy miles, may the roads be smooth and the wind favourable.

Dr Dave - Yeah I figured that I'd pass on a bargain to someone who would get many more happy miles out of her. Plus German cameras cost lots of money when they go back to Solms for repair . . . . :(

First club ride for over a year, in fact the last ride I can remember is the Robin Hoods Bay massacre Rob led us on one Sunday. The one when I thought I was going to Whitby but then later discovered that Rob had decided to personally check every hill in North Yorkshire :-)
Anyhow, I joined the ...
