Not wanting to be harsh/critical but in a spirit of constructivity I'm not sure recovery rides are meant to be 'short hilly 60 milers' though - ? maybe a lesson here...
Dr Dave what can I say other than thanks for the constructive criticism!!!!

At the end of the day this was my plan ...

Training was going to plan over the Easter period, I had completed 5 days in a row, doing 2 x 120 mile ...

Some events in Ireland

Couple of events that I've either entered or been given an invitation

1 - Shay Elliott Memorial Race 140km UCI event - invitation - top 3 were the Rapha Condor team last year. This is a week after the Fred Whitton so hopefully I'll have recovered by then.

2- Sean Kelly Tour of Waterford 160km ...

Another great weekend of cycling for me in new areas around Dublin. Out with the Bray Wheelers on Saturday on a lovely run to Brittas Bay and a previously unused HILL that the ride leader had found the week before. He mentioned that it was steep on the way out and he wasn't lying. It was approx 3 ...

Great ride out to Filey on Saturday with some good company. Only my 2nd 100 miler of the year which was made tougher by the westerly we had against us on the way back. Shout out to Darren, Sean and Tony G for doing sterling work on the front to get us back to York.

Sorry to hear that Aussie Darren ...

Just a couple of long hilly routes for me in the Dublin / Wicklow mountains on Saturday & Sunday which nearly came to an abrupt end on day 2 when I was coming down one of the fast descents - at approx 40+mph - I rounded a sweeping left hander to find the local population of sheep moving from one ...

While we're discussing events, I support Allan's view, 14 Clifton riders have democratically voted with their feet that the Etape du Dales on 15th May is accessible; worth considering IMHO

D.

Firstly what kept you Darren!!

If you are going to start adding events from all over the country ...
