can push bikes go over the humber bridge?

I've plotted a long route, for training, that includes the Humber bridge. Can bikes go over the Humber bridge? I tried looking at the official website, it does have a banner declaring all traffic can cross the bridge, but when looking at the toll fees it just lists vehicles, not motorbikes, push ...

club kit questionnaire web form

this won't submit, it keeps on telling me I haven't completed all the Qs.
I put a bogus answer in Q3 ( I don't currently have any kit so I shouldn't be completing that one) but it still puts a red box round Qs 5 & 8 ( the club kit order, and the Q on where you buy stuff now) even though I have put ...

sunday ride

I was going to join you. I haven't done this sort of distance before, I did do the saturday K ride a few weeks ago, so I hope I'll be OK.
Should I bring a bike lock, or can I leave it at home?

count me in as well. I've just been on a 'trials to trails' MTB skills weekend in the lakes with cycleactive. It was great, although I wasn't really fit enough for some of the very long hill climbs on the second day. But by March I should be fitter, and will want a skills refresher. Brilliant idea. :D

Is this the sort of drill you mean http://www.hss.com/g/2213/H-d-Combi-Hammer.html ?

I usually don't use a mountain bike for anything but off-road riding. For work/town I use an old (17 years) 'sport mountain' bike, which is very heavy, and very small (26" wheels)...so not very attractive to ...

thanks everybody,

I have now ordered a bike.

Following Simon's suggestion (at work), I did check out both the Santa Cruz Juliana, and the Orange Five Diva. The Juliana was about the same size, and the Diva gave me 3cm more clearance, but they were both a bit more expensive than the Specialized ...

hello Helen and tnwoolley

thanks for the replies, very helpful. Sorry for the delay in responding, I couldn't get the CCC website to load properly on either of my browsers, very odd. :?

Even though I keep losing my nerve (the expense), I've decided FS is the way to go.

next question: will I have ...

buying a specialized women's bike

I had my mountain bike stolen, so am now trying to replace it, I thought I might upgrade to a full suspension bike, as I find specialized's full suspension bikes are (just) small enough for me.
I have also looked at the Geometries of Scott, Kona, Marin, Trek & Giant: their FS bikes are all too big ...
