agree with paul, bit of a shame =[ but could it be possible to organise it as a club run? Mum's happy to list it as a special clubrun as long as we have some ideas of numbers etc, could discuss at AGM next week?

Ride on Thursday?

Hi everybody now I'm on my half term week I'm hoping to get a few rides in and was thinking about a ride on thursday if anybodys interested? Mum and Dad will hopefully be able to make it. Probably be a few hours with some hilly bits

Dad and I did the 50mile loop and I have to say thanks for his guidance on my first time up terrington. Halfway round we were stopped by a flock of sheep and that gave us chance to compare routes with a lost rider :roll:.
Not all smiles though, I managed to have a fall going down one of the banks ...

As for the other group on saturday we didn't have much luck with punctures either! By the end we had no tubes left and there were 6 of us but i can't remember the names sorry guys! We managed to get caught in rain for most of the ride so was a day to look back and laugh on.

If you want to find some steeper hills i'd agree with Arthur M and head out towards the wolds. Maybe if you have a look around and explore you might find some good hills to do repeatedly even if they aren't very steep, my advice would just be to have a good look around but if you do want some ...
