SRAM Force groupset and misc other stuff good home wanted
I was rummaging through my box of odd stuff for a valve core this morning when I realised I had too much odd stuff. So here it is where it could become something useful for you at a knock-down price - if you want anything then either respond on here or email me at phil.bixby@googlemail.com. Here we ...

CycleOps Mag Turbo Trainer
My CycleOps Mag trainer is up for grabs - *really* simple magnetic resistance which progressively increases with speed. No remote adjustments, no nothing - simply gets harder as you pedal harder, so you use your gears to ramp up the effort. Comes with a front wheel plastic levelling thing, and a ...

*Price drop!* - now reduced by £200 to £1950.
I took it in to Cycleworks to get the dimensions taken off it and they peered at it with big saucer eyes and said "are you sure you really want to sell it?" Yes I do - please take it off my hands and then get out there with a number on your back ...

Cervelo S5 for sale...
Having stopped racing a few years back I’m selling my S5 so it can be used for what it’s best at.
Built up myself with components I chose carefully, and in very good condition – only a couple of very superficial scuffs. 2013 model in 51cm size black / silver, with 3T Aeronova bars, 12cm 3T stem ...

Cervelo S5 coming up for sale, here and where else please?
Hi folks - this is a bit of advance notice plus a request for advice.
I'm going to be selling my Cervelo S5 soon - lovely and relatively comfy though it is, it's really a race bike and is set up for it with SRM powermeter and general attention to aero detail, and I'd rather it was being used by ...

It's a ride, Jim - but not as we know it
Here's something for those of you who ride to get to places as well as for fun/sport, and are interested in broader sustainability issues. A short pootle in and around York but taking in visits to three different sustainable homes:- a certified Passivhaus in York, a low-energy house on a wonderful ...

Re: Thank you
Belatedly spotted this - I'm not here much either these days!
Really pleased to hear about your high-profile role in the sport - it really illustrates that cycling's big enough to offer all sorts of ways of getting in on the action alongside putting a number on your back. You were always a very ...

Cycling on film at the Everyman
Those of you with very long memories may recall back in 2014 we did an event at City Screen around the then-embryonic David Millar Project movie - a screening of raw film footage, the trailer, and a Q&A with director Finlay Pretsell. It's the nature of feature film-making that four years can pass ...

A Cycle Heaven event for the literate
Andy Shrimpton at Cycle Heaven has an interesting-sounding event coming up at the shop on Thursday 29th June, as part of a series organised in partnership with Waterstones called Evenings with the Authors . This one features Max Leonard (author of Higher Calling) and Peter Cossins (author of Butcher ...

Re: Clifton Road Race Day Sunday 11 June 2017
Well, I'll have to claim 13th or thereabouts for getting my thanks in - a poor performance after some previous top placings but put it down to work overload!
Many, many thanks to marshals Dave C, Julia, Craig, Paul Drabble and Peter Hook who did a fine job with the Traffic Management crew, and ...

Re: Clifton Road Race Day Sunday 11 June 2017
I should point out, Ben, that this means you'll be finished driving duties at the same time Jamie Sharp finishes, namely around ten fifteen so you'll have lots of time to warm up for the afternoon race
