Re: Social rides
As Ian says there are a few informal activities - groups limited to 6 with social distancing.

Re: TT Series for 2020
Just followed the link MIke posted to the York Cycleworks website - it is slightly ambiguous regarding whether or not Clifton CC members can enter all their events - they only specify YCW BC members, York Tri and Malton Wheelers members?
Can we seek clarification or get YCW to amend the wording??

Clifton CC holiday 2020
As many will already know a few Clifton CC members have had trips abroad in recent years.
For 2020 we are looking at a week cycling the beautiful roads of Corsica lead by an English rider who knows the roads and sights.
We are looking to travel in September. Price approx £1200 plus flights.

Re: Regular winter evening ride, Tuesdays at 6.30pm.
Not a bump as nothing to bump it over but just a reminder that this week we start the new Tuesday evening social/training ride. I can't make it but James M has kindly agreed to lead our inaugural ride of the upcoming autumn/winter. 6.30pm at the Knavesmire for 25 or so miles of steady group riding ...

Regular winter evening ride, Tuesdays at 6.30pm.
Many years ago the club used to run a weekly evening training ride. This used 3 relatively safe courses of around 25 miles and would attract maybe 8-10 riders each week. Now that the chaingang is coming to an end for the season it has been suggested that we could run a Tuesday evening training ride ...

Re: Christmas ride/lunch/quiz
Just bumping this up again. In previous years we have had a good turn out and much jollity so hopefully this year will be more of the same. This is open to all members and there is no necessity to ride first - just feel free to come for the meal and fun

Christmas ride/lunch/quiz
Stu has again offered to host the annual Christmas Saturday lunch at the Cross-keys. Saturday the 22nd is the suggested date - I imagine he will shortly be posting more details but thought I'd post this to raise awareness

Re: 2018 SPOCO TT Series report & 2019 proposals
Was only able to get along to a few this year but enjoyed these as always.
Great credit to Dave and the usual band of helpers who keep the events going. It is a sign of the times that the wider club membership don't have much interest in supporting the TT series - not sure how this could be improved ...
