At the end of the day none of the riders tested positive during their time with Postal/Disco. However we all know things were going on as you can't dominate the tour for seven years on bread and water, especially when all major rivals of the time have since been outed. Fortunately things now seem ...

If correct it must be something to do with the fact that races are run on roads which are essentially open. Therefore if you're pulling straight out at a junction while racing or standing in the middle of the road marshalling you are contravening the highway code and are liable if any subsequent ...

Further to my previous post the marshall is now out of hospital and fortunately recovering from his injuries. However it would appear that if you are marshalling a race you are only covered by BC if you are standing at the side of the road. Obviously this has major implications for the way races are ...

I was riding the Leeds RRC RR in Spofforth. With less than 30 riders starting a break went in the first mile and built up a substantial lead. After about a third of the race I got in a small group which started to work well together to get away from the bunch. However on approaching the roundabout ...

Myself and Kit were riding the divisionals at Penny Pot Lane. Since the race was 90 miles+ I thought the best tactic was to sit on and do nothing, but after 2/3 of the race my group was embarrassingly far back and I packed. Meanwhile Mr Gilham seemingly unfazed by the distance had gone on the attack ...

Did the Hambleton RR which was nice and wet. I wasn't up to much and just finished in the bunch. My day was slightly improved by Stefan Schmacher coming in at 25-1 at Amstel!
Just seen that Kit won at Kippax yet again!!! I can't recall many riders in this area having such a good start to the season ...

Good ride Paul; it's the end result that counts! My race was thwarted by a flat on the penultimate lap. Managed to grab a spare out of my car and after a tough chase get back on just in time for the final prime hill, where the effort told I promptly got dropped! Nevertheless a great day, and a good ...

Sounds similar to Eddie Soens which I did on Saturday. Caught up with the 3,4 and junior groups fairly early and managed to get a couple of laps off the front with another guy before the E1s brought it all back together. The break then went with the best guys and although the gap never got too high ...

Think you need to be a member of a French club to race over there, which might become a bit complicated if you're going for a short time. Easiest place to race abroad is Belgium where you can simply turn up with your BC license. Paul West at BC is the man to answer all your questions about racing ...
