AE Elsegood

can anyone give me any background on AE Eslegood who I believe may have been an old member of the club back in the 1950s? I know he used to have a shop on Lord Mayors Walk. Cheers.

London 100

Hi all it's been a bit since I posted anything and not been out with Kevins group for a while but I have been lucky enough to get a place in this year's London 100 and was wondering if anyone had ridden it before or was going to ride it this year and had any ideas of where to stay and the logistics ...

Other priorities have taken over at the weekends making it a bit difficult to ...

Easy riders Sat 2ndNovember

Most of the ERs have now moved on up to Kev's group and I'm feeling a bit lonely on Sat mornings... so if you have partners or mates who may want to ride with a group on Saturdays let them know about ERs. Pace is just a bit slower than Kev's with one lunch stop. Little bit longer this Saturday 65 ...

Clothing Order

Can anyone tell me what has happened to the order we placed in August this year. Cycle Works have had my £85.00 now since August and no sign of anything or have I missed the notice to collect it?

Real Easy one this week. Very flat out by a roundabout route to Pock with a stop at around 25-30 miles at Allerthorpe park... Back via Elvington and Dunnington. total under 50 miles ish. Should suite anyone who has been considering coming back with a nice flat EEEEESY ride at a steady 13/14mph. :D

Hope to have some take up this coming week. Plan is to take the ERs around Thixendale via Leavening as per last week's run with Kev, only at a slower pace and a bit shorter route cutting out the loop through Langton. Lunch stop at around 30 miles and a total distance of about 50. Some lumps out of ...

for Kevin Cafe stop?

Kev stops at a cafe somewhere in the wolds and I can't remember where it is or the name of the village. It is at the top of a steady climb and when inside it looks a bit old worldly with beams and different furniture. I think it is a resturant/pub in the evenings and you can put your bikes round the ...
