All the best for your Hip replacement Dave. Hope everything
goes well for you. Maybe next year I can pull back a few
seconds from you.
Regards Arny

Re: Weekend roundup 18/19

Leavening hill from the Thixendale side, after completing the Spirograph. As usual I was
going a little too fast for the sharp right hander into the village and went flying off
into the trees and bushes on the side ...

roundabout yesterday and you were a witness who saw it all.

Just saw Rob's comments about my neck problem and the follow ups -
thanks Rob for your good wishes and to everyone who has wished me
well over the last 6 months. It's nice to know friends are thinking about you when you are feeling low. I hope to get back on the bike as soon as I have got myself a ...

10/11 Oct Round-up
Looks like it is my turn to start the weekend round-up.
I've always hankered to do the famous/infamous Hill Climb known as "The Rake", which is organised by the Lancashire Road Club and starts and finishes in the centre of Ramsbottom, near Bury. It's reckoned to be the oldest hill climb in the ...

Echo everyones comments about the ride. Hard but very rewarding.
I would like to say special thanks to Dr. Dave for his professional
administrations when I really needed it. I don't know what I would
have done had I been by myself. My finger is still very painful but
fortunately no breaks. Thanks ...

Weekend Roundup
As Mark mentioned I rode the CTC 100 Km starting at Malton.
The majority of the riders were getting on a bit (age wise) but I managed to attach myself to a mixed age group of 7 riders from the Whitby Wheelers, who treated the event like a chain gang, even sprinting for village and town signs. They ...
