Apologies for the late post. Tomorrow we will head into the Wolds to North Grimston, West Lutton, Wetwang, Millington and back via Stamford Bridge.
This should be around 68 miles but is fairly hilly so expect to return into town at around 12:45.

Rough plan is to head towards Malton and then onto Pocklington. We will then probably get back into town via Bubwith and Stillingfleet.
Route will be about 65 miles. Should return to York for somewhere between 12:30 and 12:45. See you Saturday.

The rough plan for Saturday is to head east through the Wolds and onto Pocklington. We will then go down some of the back roads around Elvington and Bubwith before returning to York.

08:45 - Saturday 14th May
As the majority of the 08:45 regulars are off doing the Etape du Dales this weekend, we will be doing a relatively steady ride this Saturday.
The plan is to head to Ripon and back. Distance is about 60 miles from the square and back so we should return to York for around midday.

Thankfully the forecast is looking pretty good for Saturday morning. The plan is head up to Easingwold, through Boroughbridge, Knaresborough, Wetherby and Wighill. I have plotted the route as follows: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/13390096. This comes out at 63 miles so we should be back in town ...

One of my favourite rides tomorrow - Fountains Abbey / Ripon. We will be heading out of town via Aldwark Bridge and Burton Leonard; and then returning via Easingwold. Total distance is just a smidge over 68 miles. Given the relatively flat terrain and a favourable wind in the latter section of the ...

Duly noted Tim. I think at best we will get to Tockwith for about 9:30; though I suspect it might be a bit later.

The weather is unfortunately looking a tad inclement this week. As such the route is relatively flat and the distance is kept at a smidge under 60 miles. If the conditions are as expected then it would be appreciated if bikes fitted with mudguards were utilised. The plan for Saturday can be found at ...

Really enjoyable ride on Saturday. Thanks to Simon, Martin and Pete P for some good, strong riding. Route was as stated - to Ripon via Aldwark Bridge and back into town via Husthwaite and Easingwold. We covered just a smidge over 70 miles square to square and we got back into York at 12:30.
