Another great turnout this week for the Sutton 10. Slightly more 'exciting' than we might have hoped for, with punctures, spills (hope you are well, James), and wrong turns, but beyond this it was hopefully an enjoyable night out pushing yourself hard.

Well, it was a 'classic' start to the TT season in Sheriff tonight, which of course means bloomin' freezing (for the warm up at least - I suspect riders felt better fairly soon after the first left turn). Wheldrake delivered another very pleasant evening for a time trial tonight, with the heat of the day dissipating in the face of a gentle breeze that didn't quite deliver any hoped-for tailwind on the homeward leg. Clear blue skies and negligible winds met our competitors tonight. It was a beautiful evening for a ride, although several competitors had an unexpected adrenaline rush from the sight of a gargantuan bit of farm machinery heading towards them at some point. Well, this year's first race took place on a very pleasant evening - a respectable temperature, just a breath of wind, and nice clear skies to suffer under as the 25 participants flew round the course. Well, it was a fine gathering of 29 riders that turned up tonight to see out the last of our time trials for a while - there's just the small matter of October's hill climb left (an amusingly ridiculous bit of classic cycle racing :) )
